Overview

Explore the charm and beauty of the historic City of Nassau during this guided sightseeing tour. Begin your journey by travelling from the western residential area to Arawak Cay while discovering interesting facts with your guide.  Learn about the island’s rich history as you visit old forts such as Fort Charlotte and Fort Fincastle which were built by the English to protect their prized island from invaders.  Afterwards you’ll head over to Paradise Island where you’ll get the chance to see the world famous Atlantis Resort.  From Paradise Island you will stop by the Water Tower, Nassau’s largest structure built in the early 1900’s, before walking the famous Queen’s Staircase.  Then take a drive down Bay Street where you will pass by important landmarks such as the Governor General’s residence, Nassau’s law courts and the Bahamian Parliament building.  Before heading back, you’ll travel through Meeting Street to a few more historic sites.
